Breeze KM is employed as the third stage of the Rockot ligth-weight launch vehicle.
The Breeze KM upper stage is designed and fabricated by the Khrunichev Space Center.
The main engine of this upper stage has a multiple restart capability, which enables various spacecraft injection configurations (including a tandem launch) to place more than one spacecraft to one or more different orbits. The Breeze avionics can ensure a high-precision injection, provide the pre-specified payload attitude and, if required, supply the payload with power for as long as up to 7 hours of orbital flight.
